Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans
- Document patient information thoroughly and timely in electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and self-care
- Maintain infection control and safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Kansas
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules
