Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients across diverse medical units
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to emergent situations
- Maintain detailed electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and weekend shift leadership duties
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN # required)
- BSN degree or higher (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in telemetry or ICU setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Strong proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Exceptional critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Valid California driver's license for potential mobile unit rotations
