Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ER, ICU, or Med-Surg units based on departmental assignment
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and discharge protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with calm, evidence-based interventions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in weekend shift rotations with 12-hour shifts (Sat/Sun)
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida (FL RN)
- BSN degree or higher preferred
- 2+ years acute care experience in relevant specialty
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team
- Spanish language proficiency highly valued for Miami's diverse population
