Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to patients including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of medical equipment
- Document patient care accurately and maintain confidential health records
- Support patients with activities of daily living in a dignified manner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in long-term care or acute care
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly/ill populations
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
