Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including medication administration and treatment procedures
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions, documenting all assessments accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide patient and family education on health management and disease prevention
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Participate in emergency response situations and rapid assessment protocols
- Utilize electronic health records for comprehensive documentation
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Kansas
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with 2+ years experience)
- Minimum 1 year acute care or emergency nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills with diverse populations
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend environments
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
