Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs throughout the weekend shift.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care activities, changes in condition, and interventions in electronic health records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Respond immediately to code blue alerts and emergency situations.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment while adhering to all infection control and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience (New graduates encouraged to apply).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work rotating weekend schedules, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
