Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments with strict adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously, escalating care immediately when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses and care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
