Your Role:
You will play a crucial role in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. We are looking for a proactive team player who is committed to improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical conditions continuously, reporting any significant changes to the Charge Nurse or Provider immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to hospital safety and infection control policies.
- Educate patients and families regarding their diagnosis, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN License issued by the State of Ohio Board of Nursing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in providing direct patient care in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required by the shift schedule.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and medical equipment.
