Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population during weekends.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Educate patients and families on discharge planning and ongoing health management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Colorado.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred (new grads with strong clinical rotations considered).
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Commitment to professional standards and ethical practice.
