Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously; respond promptly to any changes or emergencies.
- Document all clinical activities, patient interactions, and care plans accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients and visitors.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of nursing procedures and patient care techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume weekend environment.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
