Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care and comprehensive health assessments during weekend shifts.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in strict accordance with physician orders.
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, assessments, and interventions.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations within established protocols.
- Provide patient and family education regarding discharge instructions and ongoing care requirements.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, Joint Commission standards, and hospital policies.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and ethical standards.
