Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health status.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans tailored to patient needs and recovery goals.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all infection control and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
