Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in clinical condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Document patient history, treatment plans, and progress accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
