Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with nursing standards and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes in clinical status or emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
