Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond immediately to clinical changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient education and emotional support to families and patients.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- NICU or Med-Surg experience preferred for weekend coverage.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
