Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments strictly in accordance with medical protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, escalating concerns immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and infection-free environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in California (RN-CA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience (new graduates with exceptional rotations may be considered).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems (EMR).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
