Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assessment, monitoring vital signs and changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient medical records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by complying with hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- ACLS and BLS certification required; PALS preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, with weekend shift experience a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
