Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical history.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
- Document patient care services, including assessment, treatment, response to care, and medications.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and wellness initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work rotating weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient privacy standards.
