Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across varied clinical units during weekend shifts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining accurate documentation
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergent situations using rapid assessment protocols
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and weekend shift-specific rounding
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety standards
Qualifications
- Active WI RN license with BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in hospital setting
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with strong experience considered)
- ACLS certification required; PALS or TNCC preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and electronic health record proficiency
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend coverage
