Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond immediately to changes in condition or medical emergencies.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota (MN).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred (acute care experience a plus).
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient safety standards.
