Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments, including IVs and injections, according to physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
- Document patient care services, including assessments, treatments, and response to therapy.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication management.
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations and critical changes in patient condition.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Oklahoma.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as needed.
