Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care to all assigned patients during weekend shifts.
- Monitor patient health status, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare team members.
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and changes in condition accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and patient needs to ensure safety and well-being.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care, medications, and health maintenance.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
