As a Weekend Shift RN, you'll deliver exceptional patient care in our Level I Trauma Center while working alongside top-tier professionals. This role includes rotating weekends with guaranteed weekday off-shifts.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care across diverse patient populations
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital protocols
- Provide patient/family education and discharge planning support
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active Colorado RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Electronic medical record proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
- Ability to work independently and adapt in fast-paced environments
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun 7a-7p) with holiday rotation
