Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in emergency, ICU, and general medicine units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care planning
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and hospital safety protocols
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge plans
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
Qualifications
- Active FL RN license (or compact license)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Ability to adapt to flexible night shift schedules
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
