Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient data using EMR systems with remote access options
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for care coordination
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and hospital protocols
- Participate in weekend shift leadership huddles
Qualifications
- Active AZ RN license (compact license acceptable)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- EMR proficiency (Epic/Cerner preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend coverage
- Flexibility for on-call rotations as needed
