Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in ER, ICU, or Med-Surg units based on assignment
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per protocols
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document in Epic EHR
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care plans
- Respond to emergencies and rapid response activations
- Mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and hospital safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year weekend shift experience preferred
- Expertise in patient monitoring and emergency interventions
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
