Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population on the weekend shift.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and conditions, escalating urgent issues immediately to physicians or charge nurses.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other interdisciplinary staff.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the shift.
