Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Respond to emergency situations with critical thinking and decisive action
- Maintain sterile environments during procedures and ensure infection control compliance
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Kansas
- ACLS/BLS certifications (required) and ACLS instructor certification (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Strong proficiency in electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic clinical environments
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun shifts with occasional holidays)
- BSN degree or higher (required for new hires)
