Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital signs, and EKGs with precision
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Administer medications and injections per protocols
- Maintain electronic health records with 99.8% accuracy
- Coordinate patient flow across emergency and inpatient units
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment between cases
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA/NCMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in hospital settings
- Advanced proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Cerner preferred)
- Current BLS/CPR certification with ACLS preferred
- Demonstrated ability to handle emergency situations calmly
- Ohio state medical assistant license in good standing
- Exceptional communication skills across diverse populations
- Availability to work 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am)
