Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and medication administration per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Respond to emergency situations and administer life-saving interventions
- Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to infection control standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Minnesota (or compact state)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- 2+ years acute care or hospital nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Commitment to weekend shift availability (Sat/Sun)
- Electronic health record proficiency (Epic preferred)
