Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control measures
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN accepted with 2+ years experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or specialty experience
- Proficiency in Epic or Cerner EHR systems
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
