Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse clinical settings including hospitals, urgent care centers, and specialty clinics
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Monitor patient vitals, document electronic health records, and communicate critical updates to care teams
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA compliance, safety standards, and infection control procedures
- Provide patient education on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Active Colorado RN license (or compact license with Colorado residency)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS preferred for critical care roles
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize emergencies
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
