Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Assess patient health status, administer medications, and monitor vital signs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Adhere to infection control procedures and safety regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical skills with proficiency in emergency response
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment
