Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in diverse clinical settings including hospitals, clinics, and long-term facilities
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform diagnostic procedures as prescribed
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in acute care or specialty area
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (EHR)
