Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in specialized units (ER/ICU/Step-down)
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and discharge planning
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance, hospital policies, and JCAHO standards
- Participate in rapid response teams and emergency interventions
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation using Epic EHR systems
Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree required; ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered
- ACLS/BLS certification; specialty certifications preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
