Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in medical-surgical, ICU, or emergency departments
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation standards
- Supervise LVNs and CNAs while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
- Provide patient and family education on disease management and wellness
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in relevant specialty
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
