Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings including med-surg, ICU, and emergency departments
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment plans
- Adhere to infection control standards and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Active New York State Registered Nurse license (RN)
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing with 2+ years of clinical experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required; PALS preferred
- Experience in acute care settings with strong clinical judgment skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
