Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and injections accurately and safely
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Maintain sterile techniques and ensure infection control compliance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous education
Qualifications
- Current Missouri RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Minimum 1-2 years of acute care or specialty nursing experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
