Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in medical-surgical, ICU, or emergency department settings
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to JCAHO, OSHA, and facility-specific safety regulations
- Manage patient assignments efficiently during high-acuity situations
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with 2+ years experience)
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent acute care RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic or Cerner EHR systems
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced hospital environments
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license for travel between facilities
