Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings with precision and compassion
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with meticulous documentation
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in clinical status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience (ICU, ER, or Med-Surg preferred)
- BLS/ACLS certifications required, PALS or TNCC a plus
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC, Cerner)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical environments
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
