Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with emphasis on assessment, monitoring, and intervention
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders and facility protocols
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process enhancement projects
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in Texas (TX RN)
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
- Graduation from accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
