Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications according to physician orders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Provide compassionate patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Assist with procedures and examinations, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Respond promptly to code blue situations and emergency medical incidents.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Epic or Cerner EMR systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a high-paced environment.
