Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, food intake, and patient conditions
- Assist with prescribed medical treatments under nurse supervision
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Support social activities to enhance resident wellbeing and quality of life
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and resident families
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Ohio CNA certification or enrollment in approved training program
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly care
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekends
