Your Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will serve as the advocate for your patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes in a fast-paced medical setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.
- Document patient care accurately and in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and self-care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN License in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
