Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, documenting all changes accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred (Med-Surg or ICU background a plus).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
