Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough initial and ongoing health assessments to monitor patient status and progress.
- Care Implementation: Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed medical records in compliance with hospital policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Crisis Management: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations with clinical expertise.
- Education: Provide patient and family education regarding disease management and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Michigan.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
