Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs.Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, initiating emergency protocols immediately when necessary.Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation of patient records, assessments, and care provided.Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and HIPAA compliance standards.
Qualifications
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (must be maintained).Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting (preferred).Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.Ability to work effectively and calmly in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care at all times.
