Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct thorough physical assessments and continuously monitor patient conditions to ensure optimal recovery.
- Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
- Clinical Collaboration: Partner with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Documentation: Maintain precise and up-to-date medical records, patient charts, and clinical notes in compliance with hospital standards.
- Emergency Response: Respond effectively and calmly during medical emergencies, utilizing critical thinking and advanced life support skills.
- Patient Advocacy: Act as a strong advocate for patient rights and needs, ensuring a voice for every individual in your care.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or North Carolina.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply with strong clinical rotation backgrounds.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to effectively interact with patients, families, and the medical team.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to operate complex medical equipment and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
