Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care and conduct thorough clinical assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety standards at all times.
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning to promote long-term health.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies within your scope of practice.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift equipment as needed during shifts.
