Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and nursing protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and recovery progress with meticulous documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and preventive care
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations, OSHA standards, and facility-specific policies
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in acute care or specialty area
- ACLS/BLS certifications required; PALS or specialty certifications preferred
- Graduation from accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication abilities and cultural competency
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
